Cambridge Middle East (CME) is a Qatar-based education consultancy and training Center offering professional development, language training and exam preparation, and international education consultancy services.

We are looking for a motivated Web Developer Intern to support the development, improvement, and maintenance of our company website. The successful candidate will work on website functionality, performance, responsiveness, and user experience while collaborating with our graphic designer and content writer.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining the company website.
• Build responsive and user-friendly web pages compatible with desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Implement website layouts and designs in collaboration with the graphic designer.
• Integrate website content provided by the SEO Content Writer.
• Test website functionality, identify technical issues, and troubleshoot errors.
• Optimize website speed, performance, usability, and accessibility.
• Apply basic on-page SEO and technical SEO best practices.
• Support website security, updates, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Coordinate with the graphic designer and content writer to ensure consistent website presentation and functionality.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with website development platforms such as WordPress is an advantage.
• Understanding of responsive web design and user experience principles.
• Basic knowledge of website optimization and SEO is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
• A willingness to learn, take initiative, and meet agreed deadlines.
