Web Developer (WordPress, Shopify, Laravel, CodeIgniter)

Duties & Responsibilities

• The candidate must be career-oriented and be looking for a long-term commitment.
• You will be required to work on a variety of diverse and challenging web, desktop and mobile application development as well as writing business process applications.
• Attention to detail is essential, with the ability to work independently.
• It is quite possible that the chosen candidate will be working on different projects (possibly in different technologies) on a regular basis, so they should be able to keep focus while switching between projects.
• The work involves high commitment under tight deadlines.

Candidate should have:

• Bachelor degree in computer science/software engineering.
• Hands on 1+ year of industry experience.
• Experience in custom web applications, development and deployment in LAMP environment.
• Mandatory experience with PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery.
• Strong understanding of security requirements in web development environment.
• Demonstrated interest in database application development.
• Disciplined programming skills with an eye for professional user interfaces.
• Familiarity with the object-oriented and structured programming paradigm.
• Familiarity with Human-Computer Interface (HCI) guidelines.
• Effective Communication skills.
• Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds.
• Excellent relational database skills with MySQL.
• Experience with building restful JSON web services.
• Experienced in building REST API’s.
• Proficient in using AJAX.
• Experience of working on complex PHP Business applications and Accounting applications.
• Must have strong grasp of MVC development pattern.
• Codeigniter, Yii , Larvel, ZEND (Experience in any one of these is a must).

Plus point if:

• Experienced in popular CMSs such as Open Cart, Shopify, Magento, Word Press, Drupal.
• Experienced in developing and customizing Plugins for the above mentioned CMSs.
• Experienced in customizing themes for the CMSs.
