About ZNTH
ZNTH is a Paris-rooted nonprofit cultural organization building an interdisciplinary ecosystem for emerging creatives.
We are interested in culture while it is still developing: unfinished work, new voices, overlooked creative processes, difficult questions, experimental ideas and the people shaping culture before they become obvious.
Our work spans cultural programming, creative community, editorial, research, partnerships and digital experiences.
We are currently building the next stage of our digital world, including spaces for editorial content, artist discovery, cultural archives, opportunities, resources and creative programming.
We do not want the ZNTH website to feel like a static institutional site.
We want it to feel like somewhere you can enter, wander, read, discover, think and come back to.
The Role
We are looking for a Digital Editorial & Creative Experience Intern who sits somewhere between a writer, editor, cultural researcher and digital creative.
This person will help us think about what the ZNTH digital world should actually contain and how people should experience it.
You do not need to be a developer.
Instead, you should be someone who understands words, images, culture and storytelling — and can collaborate with developers and creative direction to transform ideas into meaningful digital experiences.
Responsibilities
You may work on:
- Developing editorial concepts for the ZNTH website
- Writing and editing digital copy
- Developing article, profile and cultural-feature ideas
- Researching emerging artists, cultural movements and creative practices
- Developing concepts for the Journal, Screening Room, Creative Directory and other future platform areas
- Creating editorial briefs
- Working with Creative Direction on visual/editorial presentation
- Working with developers on how stories should behave digitally
- Thinking beyond conventional article layouts
- Helping determine how text, photography, video, archives and interactive elements can work together
- Developing artist and creative profiles
- Conducting interviews
- Developing recurring editorial series
- Helping shape ZNTH’s written voice
- Reviewing website copy for clarity and consistency
- Researching references from publishing, magazines, cultural institutions, film, art and digital media
- Helping make complex cultural ideas accessible without flattening them
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Is genuinely curious about culture
- Reads, watches, listens and pays attention
- Has strong written English
- Can write clearly without making everything sound corporate
- Has strong editorial instincts
- Has excellent visual taste
- Understands that writing and design are connected in digital publishing
- Can identify a strong story or cultural question
- Is interested in emerging creatives rather than only established names
- Has interests across more than one creative discipline
- Can move between research, concept development and actual written output
- Is comfortable collaborating with designers, developers, photographers and creative directors
Backgrounds may include:
- journalism
- creative writing
- publishing
- cultural studies
- fashion communication
- art history

We care much more about how you think and what you make than having one particular degree.
