Web Engineer

Who you are

• Experience in web development across frontend and backend
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React)
• Experience building APIs and working with backend technologies (e.g. Node.js or similar)
• Understanding of web fundamentals, including performance and accessibility
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and modern development practices
• Familiarity with version control, testing, and CI/CD workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn

What the job involves

• We are looking for a Software Engineer, Web Fullstack, to help build and improve our web applications and supporting services
• In this role, you will contribute across frontend and backend systems, delivering reliable, scalable features that enhance user experiences
• You will work closely with experienced engineers, product managers, and designers in a collaborative, remote-first environment
• Build and maintain web applications across frontend and backend systems
• Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using modern frameworks such as React
• Implement backend services and APIs to support product functionality
• Contribute to system design discussions and technical decisions within the team
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Monitor and improve application performance and reliability
• Work with cloud services (e.g. AWS) to deploy and operate applications
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD practices
• Collaborate with Product and Design to deliver high-quality features.
