About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a specialized digital marketing and web development agency serving the vacation rental industry. The organization provides custom website design and development, search engine optimization, paid search, email marketing, and other digital solutions that help vacation rental property managers strengthen their online presence, generate direct bookings, and grow their businesses.

The company develops customized, conversion-focused websites and digital marketing strategies tailored to the operational and technology needs of vacation rental businesses. Its web development work includes responsive website design, booking-focused functionality, property management software integrations, and ongoing collaboration with clients from initial concept through website launch.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Web Development Project Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of website development and digital marketing projects. This position serves as the primary link between clients and internal development, design, and leadership teams, translating business needs into clearly defined project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.

The Web Development Project Manager will oversee projects throughout the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery, scoping, and requirements gathering through development, quality assurance, client approval, and launch. This individual will ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining clear and proactive communication with all stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing WordPress website projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and guiding projects from initial scoping through launch. Success in this role requires strong client communication, exceptional organization, careful attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage website development and digital projects from planning through launch.
• Understand project goals, requirements, scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Gather website content, technical requirements, creative assets, feedback, and approvals from clients.
• Translate client requirements into clear project briefs and actionable tasks.
• Coordinate with developers, designers, content specialists, and other team members.
• Develop project scopes, estimates, and pricing when required.
• Create and manage project schedules, milestones, task assignments, and deadlines.
• Monitor project progress and provide timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and communicate project risks, delays, dependencies, and scope changes.
• Attend client meetings, document decisions, and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Manage client expectations, requests, feedback, and revisions.
• Assist with website content entry, formatting, migration, and updates when needed.
• Support website quality assurance and test content, links, forms, responsiveness, and functionality.
• Maintain accurate project documentation using project management and collaboration tools.
• Follow established workflows, processes, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing web development, website redesign, or digital marketing projects.
• Strong working knowledge of WordPress CMS and common website functionality.
• Experience coordinating developers, designers, content teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Experience using project management tools such as Asana, Basecamp, or similar platforms.
• Strong client-facing, written, and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to gather requirements, document decisions, and communicate next steps clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through.
• Ability to review websites against approved design, content, and functionality requirements.
• Working knowledge of HTML, SEO principles, Google Analytics, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience with website quality assurance and functionality testing.
• Experience working in a digital marketing, web development, or client-services agency.
• Experience with booking engines, software integrations, or property management systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of the vacation rental, hospitality, travel, or property management industry is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment during US business hours.
