Web Support Specialist / Developer

As a Web Support Specialist, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional client service, resolving website issues, and helping to build and maintain websites. The Role

The Web Support Specialist is part of the “get stuff done” team at Jumpem — turning client requests into results. You’ll provide technical support, make website updates, and collaborate with developers and designers to ensure client websites run smoothly. This role requires strong web development knowledge paired with excellent client communication skills.

What You’ll Do

• Client Support: Communicate with clients to answer questions, resolve issues, and deliver timely updates.
• Website Updates: Complete requests such as content changes, HTML/CSS edits, new page builds, and troubleshooting.
• Collaboration: Work with team members to assign, prioritize, and complete support tickets efficiently.
• Technical Guidance: Advise clients on updates that may affect SEO, performance, or site functionality.
• Cross-Team Coordination: Partner with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Additional Tasks: Assist with internal projects, new product support, and other website-related duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

• 2+ years of experience in website support, ticket systems, or customer service
• 2+ years of hands-on WordPress development/maintenance experience
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, PHP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects at once
• Calm, adaptable, and detail-oriented under pressure

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with Git/version control
• Familiarity with React, Twig, Javascript
• Knowledge of MySQL
• Understanding of SEO best practices
• Background in digital marketing or website optimization
