Mid-Level QA Engineer – Web Applications

Job Summary:

You will design and execute testing strategies, identify defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products that meet performance, usability, and functionality standards.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans covering functionality, usability, performance, and security.

Perform manual and automated testing across multiple browsers, devices, and OS platforms.

Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.

Collaborate with teams to review requirements, provide feedback, and ensure testability.

Stay updated with industry trends and continuously improve testing processes.

Qualifications: Must-Have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

At least 2 years in QA, focused on web applications.

Proficiency in API testing (Postman)

Proficiency in SQL Querying or other database querying

Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies.

Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web APIs) and browser compatibility.

Have experience working with Agile Methodologies, JIRA and Confluence.

Knowledge of writing bugs and user stories in ticket.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter), security testing, and BDD frameworks.

Familiarity with Bitbucket or other version control systems.

Proficiency in test automation (Selenium)
