• Installation and Configuration: WebLogic Admins are responsible for installing and configuring WebLogic Server software on servers or virtual machines
• They set up domain configurations, including configuring server instances, clusters, data sources, security settings, and other required resources
• Application Deployment: WebLogic Admins handle the deployment of web applications and components on WebLogic Server
• They package and deploy applications using deployment tools, manage application lifecycles, and ensure proper configuration and dependencies are met for successful deployment
• Server Administration: WebLogic Admins perform routine server administration tasks, such as starting, stopping, and restarting server instances, managing server logs, and monitoring server performance

• Backup and Recovery: WebLogic Admins implement backup and recovery strategies for WebLogic Server configurations and applications
• They perform regular backups of server configurations, domain configurations, and application data
• In the event of a failure or data loss, they restore server configurations and applications from backups
• Patching and Upgrades: WebLogic Admins keep up-to-date with the latest patches, security updates, and versions of WebLogic Server
• They plan and execute patching and upgrade activities, ensuring minimal downtime and compatibility with existing applications
• High Availability and Load Balancing: WebLogic Admins configure and manage high availability features, such as clustering, load balancing, and failover configurations
