Role Description The Website Developer & SEO Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining institutional websites to ensure they are visually engaging, user-friendly, and technically robust. Daily tasks include implementing front-end and back-end features, optimizing site performance, and ensuring cross-browser and mobile responsiveness. The specialist will plan and execute SEO strategies, conduct keyword research, improve on-page and technical SEO, and monitor analytics to enhance search rankings and user engagement. Collaboration with academic and administrative teams to update content, support digital campaigns, and align web presence with institutional goals is a core part of this position.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Web Development skills, including both Front-End Development and Back-End Web Development.
• Candidates should possess practical Programming skills relevant to modern web technologies and frameworks.
• Candidates should possess Web Design skills, including layout, usability, responsive design, and basic UX principles.
• Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Analytics) and on-page/technical SEO best practices is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and version control tools is preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are expected.
