Summary
Infinity Technologies is seeking a Website Support and Digital Systems Analyst to provide hands-on technical support for client websites, content-management systems, hosting environments, and connected digital applications. The role focuses on troubleshooting, administration, controlled testing, documentation, and approved implementation across multiple supported websites.
The position works closely with Marketing, IT, client departments, and outside vendors to keep websites functional, secure, accessible, and properly maintained. This is a technical website-operations role rather than a primary graphic-design, copywriting, or marketing-strategy position.
Duties and Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day technical support for client websites and CMS platforms, including WordPress, Granicus GovAccess, CivicPlus, Shopify, and comparable systems.

Troubleshoot website errors, caching problems, broken functionality, plugin or theme conflicts, redirects, embeds, forms, integrations, publishing issues, and user-access problems.

Implement approved website and system changes; test changes in a staging or test environment before production deployment when the platform supports it.

Review WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates; monitor site health, PHP compatibility, error logs, and known compatibility risks; maintain testing and plugin-purpose records.

Monitor and document hosting, domain, DNS, SSL/TLS, backup schedules, retention settings, recovery procedures, and responsible account owners; investigate failures or unusual storage use.

Troubleshoot website-generated email delivery from the form through the receiving mailbox, including CMS notification settings, sender and reply-to addresses, recipients, forwarding rules, SMTP or transactional-email services, bounce messages, and available logs.

Review website-related DNS and email-authentication records, including A, CNAME, MX, TXT, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. Coordinate approved changes with IT, the domain owner, hosting provider, or email administrator; do not make unapproved DNS or mail-policy changes.

Support website-related applications such as GovAccess, GovQA, GovDelivery, Bablic, and other connected systems; investigate roles, workflows, ownership, notifications, and integrations.

Create and maintain approved website-user accounts with appropriate permissions; verify administrator access, multifactor authentication, and recovery requirements.

Conduct controlled tests and retain screenshots, request numbers, test conditions, technical findings, changes, evidence, and final results.

Use technical audit and diagnostic tools to identify broken links, redirects, response codes, duplicate or missing metadata, crawl problems, and other website-quality issues.

Coordinate with vendors and escalate issues requiring server access, enterprise email administration, licensing decisions, development work, client approval, or IT ownership; track requests through resolution.

Maintain accurate website, vendor, account, task-status, and next-step information in IT Glue, ticketing systems, and approved trackers; keep passwords and sensitive information out of regular email and task trackers.

Create and maintain technical procedures, standard operating procedures, support instructions, and complete handoff notes before scheduled leave or reassignment.

Support website launches, migrations, post-launch testing, technical content audits, and cross-functional website-improvement projects while managing multiple assignments.

Required Qualifications

Two to four years of professional experience in website administration, CMS support, technical website support, IT systems support, or a related role.

Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting WordPress or a comparable content-management system.

Ability to troubleshoot website forms, plugins, integrations, publishing problems, access issues, and website-generated email delivery methodically.

Working knowledge of website hosting, DNS record types, SSL/TLS, backups, staging environments, and production deployment practices.

General understanding of SMTP and email-authentication concepts, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, and the ability to coordinate required changes with the appropriate technical owner.

Working knowledge of HTML and CSS and experience using browser developer tools to investigate website behavior.

Ability to conduct controlled testing, document findings, maintain technical records, and recognize when an issue requires escalation.

Strong written communication, organization, follow-through, and ability to explain technical findings to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple websites, requests, deadlines, and priorities while following approval, security, and change-control requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Granicus GovAccess, GovDelivery, GovQA, CivicPlus, Shopify, Elementor, or comparable platforms.
