We’re Hiring for a WebSphere Commerce Developer

Location: Chennai

Experience: 4+ years

We are looking for an experienced HCL Commerce / IBM WebSphere Commerce Developer with strong hands-on experience in WCS v8, Java, Spring Boot, and modern React/Next.js storefronts.

Must-Have Skills:

• HCL Commerce / IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS) v8.x
• Java / J2EE / Object-Oriented Design
• WebSphere Application Server
• Spring / Spring MVC & Spring Boot
• REST & SOAP Web Services
• JavaScript, HTML & CSS
• React & Next.js – production experience required
• Git / Bitbucket & Agile development
• Jira & Confluence

Key Experience:

• WCS storefront customization, business logic, catalog/order/user flows
• Integration with backend systems and enterprise services
• Developing and consuming Spring Boot REST APIs
• Commerce-to-React/Next.js storefront integration
• Unit testing, defect troubleshooting & root-cause analysis
• Working in a dual-run architecture – Legacy WCS + Modern Storefront
• Experience with B2B eCommerce applications

Good to have:

• B2B Commerce / Punchout experience
• Headless / Composable Commerce
• TypeScript
• Solr / Redis / Caching
• CMS-driven storefronts
• MuleSoft or similar iPaaS
• Angular / Vue

Important:

This is NOT a greenfield-only Next.js or Spring Boot role. Strong hands-on HCL Commerce v8 experience is the hiring bar. Candidates with only generic Java, WebSphere Portal, Next.js, or Spring Boot experience will not be a fit.
