Wedding Floor Managers

Mudbrick Vineyard & Restaurant is looking for experienced wedding floor managers to join our team.

Mudbrick is a world-renowned luxury destination on Waiheke Island and a one-Michelin-star restaurant, offering award-winning food and wine with some of the most spectacular views in the world — vineyards rolling down to the sparkling Hauraki Gulf, with Rangitoto and the Auckland skyline lighting up the sunset. We're one of the country's most sought-after wedding venues, hosting over 130 weddings a year.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar high-volume restaurant or events environment
• Current Duty Manager's Certificate
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest-service skills
• Experience running large-scale events from start to finish is a strong advantage

Your role
As Wedding Floor Manager, you'll take full ownership of running a wedding event from start to finish each evening, leading our front-of-house team to deliver a flawless, memorable experience for every couple and their guests. You'll:

• Oversee set up and pack down of the restaurant area for each event
• Communicate with the MC, couple, staff, and kitchen to ensure a seamless flow of service throughout the night
• Keep track of external suppliers (DJ, photographer, etc.) to ensure everything runs to plan
• Charge all items correctly to guest bills
• Manage the after-dinner reception and see the night through to a smooth close
• Resolve any guest enquiries or issues on the night
• Ensure service standards and run sheets are followed on the floor

• 126 Church Bay Road, Oneroa, Waiheke Island
• Applicants must live on or be willing to relocate to Waiheke Island
• Evening role, working weddings across the week, weekends and public holidays
• Full-time role – minimum 30 hours per week
