Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Weekday Dog Nanny to provide exceptional care and companionship for dogs during the weekdays. Duties

• Provide daily care, feeding, and exercise routines tailored to each dog’s needs
• Engage in positive reinforcement training to promote good behavior and obedience
• Handle dogs safely using proper animal restraint techniques and pet handling skills
• Monitor dogs for signs of distress or illness, communicating concerns promptly to management
• Maintain a clean and organized environment in our outside and inside play areas
• Use animal handling expertise to manage various breeds and temperaments effectively
• Heavy lifting may be required when moving supplies or assisting with larger dogs

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dog training, pet sitting, or animal handling roles
• Veterinary technician or assistant experience highly preferred
• Knowledge of pet care best practices
• Strong background in animal handling across different breeds
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when necessary
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining a caring attitude toward animals
• Valid certifications in pet grooming or animal care are advantageous but not required
