Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing of sales transactions
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation in compliance with food safety regulations
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a pristine environment
• Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, handle special requests, and resolve any concerns promptly to ensure a memorable dining experience

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is highly desirable
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service enhances guest interactions
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts
• Experience with food handling, sanitation procedures, and food safety standards is essential for maintaining quality service
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and promote sales through upselling techniques
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities

Pay: $15.00 - $27.24 per hour
