Weekend Baker/prep

We’re looking for a dependable Weekend Baker / Prep Cook to help keep our kitchen stocked, organized, and ready for busy weekends. This position is a mix of baking and kitchen prep and is a great fit for someone who enjoys working independently, staying organized, and getting things done.

Responsibilities

• Prepare baked goods according to Nell’s recipes and standards

• Complete weekend baking needs and maintain appropriate par levels

• Prepare and portion ingredients for the kitchen

• Wash, cut, portion, label, and store produce and other ingredients

• Prepare sauces, dressings, batters, and other prep items as assigned

• Follow prep lists and communicate when products or ingredients are running low

• Properly label, date, rotate, and store all food

• Maintain a clean and organized prep and baking area

• Wash dishes, utensils, pans, and equipment used during prep

• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and allergy procedures

• Help the kitchen team with additional prep as needed

• Complete assigned prep before leaving so the next shift is set up for success

What We’re Looking For

• Weekend availability is required

• Dependable and able to consistently show up for scheduled shifts

• Comfortable working independently and managing a prep list

• Good time management and attention to detail

• Able to follow recipes and portion standards consistently

• Able to work at a steady pace without sacrificing quality

• Previous baking, restaurant, or kitchen experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift approximately 40–50 lbs when needed

Schedule Part-time | Weekends Weekend availability is the priority. Exact hours may vary depending on baking, prep needs, events, and restaurant volume. What Matters Most We can teach recipes and procedures. We need someone who is reliable, takes pride in their work, communicates, and understands that good prep sets the entire kitchen up for a successful shift.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
