Join our vibrant weekend team as a Bistro Associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a welcoming and lively atmosphere for our guests. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face behind the counter, delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages and light food options. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth operations during busy weekend hours, making every guest’s experience memorable. Whether it’s taking orders, processing transactions, or maintaining a clean and inviting space, your contribution will be vital to our success. AM 6:30-10a and or PM 5p-11p. Hourly plus tips!

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with their ordering needs, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit
• Prepare non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care
• Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash and credit card payments, ensuring proper cash handling and processing of all transactions
• Maintain cleanliness of the bistro area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas in accordance with food safety standards
• Restock supplies regularly to ensure availability of ingredients, beverages, and utensils for smooth service flow
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring quality standards are met for all items served.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or café environments is highly desirable
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Barista experience or beverage service background is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced weekend shifts effectively
• Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail in cleaning and food prep tasks
