Weekend Breakfast Host

Job Summary
As a Breakfast Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their morning experience. Your primary responsibility will be to warmly greet customers, prepare foods, and ensure a smooth flow of guests in the restaurant. You will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival.
• Keep the sitting area and buffet counter clean at all times.
• Replenish breakfast items as needed.
• Keep record of breakfast inventory for ordering purposes.
• Put away food deliveries, making sure to use up older items first.
• Once breakfast is finished, clean up kitchen area, any plates/cups left behind by guests, and our common area (lobby).

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
• Experience in a restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Basic culinary knowledge is a plus, including food preparation techniques.

Our complimentary breakfast hours are as follows:
Monday through Friday 6:30am to 9:30am
Saturday and Sunday 7am - 10am

Breakfast prep includes heating precooked eggs and a breakfast meat, preparing waffle batter and making coffee/setting up bread items. Shift would start approximately 6am and end at 10-10:30 on weekdays. On weekends, shift would start approximately 6:30 and end around 11am. We are currently looking for someone to work Saturdays and Sundays only.
