Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive seating and menu guidance to enhance their brunch experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise processing of sales transactions
• Recommend and upsell menu items, including specialty cocktails, wines, spirits, and food options to maximize sales and guest satisfaction
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and food safety protocols
• Manage beverage service including cocktail preparation, wine pouring, spirits serving, and ensuring proper drink presentation
• Process cash transactions accurately and handle credit card payments with professionalism and attention to detail
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas by bussing tables promptly and assisting with sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations
• Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, address inquiries or concerns promptly, and ensure a memorable dining experience

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and sales processing
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, wine, spirits, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy brunch hours while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and calculating bills
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience working with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous

Pay: From $2.13 per hour
