Part-Time | Saturday & Sunday | $15–$16 per Hour

About the Position

We are looking for a dependable, responsible, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Weekend Gas Station Cashier. This position is ideal for someone seeking part-time weekend employment who enjoys working with the public and can provide friendly, professional service.

The ideal candidate will be punctual, trustworthy, comfortable handling cash, and able to work independently while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.

Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!

Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Operate the cash register and accurately process cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
• Sell lottery tickets and follow all applicable lottery regulations and store procedures.
• Sell tobacco products and verify customer identification to ensure compliance with age requirements.
• Check IDs when required for age-restricted purchases.
• Restock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain product displays.
• Keep the store, checkout counter, and other assigned areas clean and presentable.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned.
• Follow company policies, cash-handling procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a reliable attendance record and arrive on time for scheduled shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
• Dependable, punctual, honest, and responsible.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
• Willingness to learn store procedures and follow all applicable laws and regulations.
• Previous cashier, convenience store, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
• ABC Licensed and/or willing to become certified as we do sell alcohol. We will help you!
• Experience with POS systems is helpful but we will train you.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21.0 per week
