Weekend Chef/Cook

We are looking for a reliable, experienced and confident Weekend Cook to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our kitchen.

The Role

• Open and close the kitchen, including end-of-shift procedures.
• Prepare and cook our menu to a consistently high standard of quality and presentation.
• Complete all kitchen duties, including food preparation, washing up and cleaning.
• Follow all food safety, allergen, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe, organised kitchen and prevent cross-contamination.
• Work efficiently and confidently during busy periods.
• Manage stock and report any issues to management.
• Deal with customer feedback professionally.
• Assist with front-of-house duties when required.

Essential

• Previous kitchen experience, including food preparation and cooking, is essential.
• Allergen awareness and a good understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen safety procedures.
• Able to work independently, remain calm under pressure and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, organised and hardworking.
• Willing to carry out all aspects of kitchen duties, from opening and preparation through to closing.
• Over 18s only.

Desirable

Previous front-of-house or customer service experience would be a bonus.

This is a hands-on weekend position for someone who can confidently run the kitchen and maintain high standards throughout the shift.

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week
