Weekend Cleaner

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and professional Weekend Building Cleaner / Resident Services Attendant to support the daily operation of a residential building every Saturday and Sunday.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of common areas and providing basic support to residents when needed. This may include assisting residents with access to the party room, supporting elevator access during move-ins and move-outs, and responding to general building-related requests.

This position requires someone who is dependable, customer-service oriented, comfortable interacting with residents, and able to work independently.

Schedule

• Saturday and Sunday
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 7.5 paid hours per shift

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas of the residential building, including hallways, lobbies, elevators, stairwells, amenity areas, and other shared spaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform other general cleaning duties as required
• Clean and maintain washrooms and other resident common areas
• Collect and dispose of garbage and recycling in designated areas
• Restock cleaning and washroom supplies as required
• Assist residents with access to the party room and other common areas when requested
• Provide basic support to residents during move-ins and move-outs, including assisting with elevator access when required
• Monitor common areas and report any damage, safety concerns, maintenance issues, or unusual activity to the appropriate building management contact
• Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with residents, visitors, and building staff
• Follow all building procedures, health and safety requirements, and cleaning protocols
• Complete other general cleaning and building support duties as required

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or commercial cleaning experience is an asset, but not required
• Previous experience in a residential building, condominium, or customer service environment is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Comfortable interacting professionally with residents and visitors
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to safely use standard cleaning equipment and supplies
• Ability to perform physical cleaning duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving cleaning supplies
