Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Cook to join our team at a recuperative care facility serving up to 48 patients. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, and passionate about preparing nutritious meals in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve daily meals (LUNCH AND DINNER) for up to 48 patients in a timely, safe, and sanitary manner.
• Create balanced, health-conscious menus tailored to patient needs.
• Track and manage weekly/monthly food inventory and supply budgets.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Adapt to full-time, part-time, or on-call shifts as needed.
• Work collaboratively with staff and communicate effectively with the care team.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service and manage kitchen operations effectively.
• Clean and maintain equipment. Clean Dining Area, Clean Kitchen, Fridges, Freezer, and Pantries.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare, institutional, or high-volume setting.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and safety standards.
• Experience with budgeting and supply planning.
• Ability to create and adjust menus based on dietary needs and available resources.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently.
• ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
