Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools efficiently and safely.
• Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all items meet health standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies or prepping ingredients under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
• Support the kitchen team by bussing tables and clearing used dishes from dining areas promptly.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of pots, pans, or bulk supplies while following proper ergonomic techniques.
• Adhere to all kitchen health and safety standards to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is advantageous.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads when necessary.
• Familiarity with kitchen health and safety standards, including food safety management protocols.
• Excellent attention to detail for cleaning and sanitizing tasks.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
