Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using our table management systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant’s offerings
• Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests
• Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously
• Support food safety protocols and ensure cleanliness standards are upheld in the host area

Skills

• Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred, with a strong focus on customer service excellence
• Proficiency in restaurant reservation management and POS systems such as Micros POS or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette
• Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and seating efficiently
• Basic math skills for handling tables, bills, and reservation counts accurately
• Knowledge of restaurant table management systems and food safety standards
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Hospitality-minded with a genuine passion for guest relations and creating welcoming atmospheres

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.5 per week

Work Location: In person
