Weekend Hygiene Operative

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

• Carry out scheduled cleaning of departmental manufacturing machinery, equipment and environment.
• Deep clean of the manufacturing production lines.
• Carry out cleaning tasks in conjunction with the implemented written cleaning instructions.
• Reporting incidents or concerns to the management teams.
• Role modelling the company Health and Safety policies.
• Completing relevant cleaning records of completed cleans.
• COSHH Regulation adherence.
• Ad hoc hygiene tasks when required.

RESULTS:

• Carry out scheduled cleaning of departmental machinery, equipment and environments.
• Wet chemical deep cleaning of production freezers and production lines as per schedule.
• Stripping and rebuilding of line belts and fixed panel, in conjunction with written instructions, to allow completion of cleaning tasks.
• Carry out high level cleaning as per schedules, by use of licensed high level cleaning machinery (training provided).
• Complete all cleaning tasks in conjunction with implemented written cleaning instructions
• Measure testing (Titration) of factory departmental chemical strengths and records. Ensuring compliance with supplier recommendations of use.
• Safe chemical decanting, from bulk supplies to smaller required supplies.
• COSHH regulation adherence.
• Reporting incidents or concerns to the management teams.
• Role modelling the company Health & Safety policies.
• Completing relevant cleaning records of cleaning completed.
• Ad hoc tasks when required.

GENERAL SKILLS:

• Experience within a food manufacturing environment in either a hygiene or operative position.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11,510.00 per year

Experience:

• Food Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
• Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
