Responsibilities

• Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment with precision and adherence to safety standards.
• Handle laundry materials carefully, including sorting textiles by type and color, loading push carts, and managing heavy loads through manual handling techniques.
• Follow strict sanitation protocols to ensure all laundry is cleaned according to health regulations and safety standards in production.
• Use laundry detergents and cleaning agents correctly, maintaining proper chemical handling procedures to ensure safety for yourself and others.
• Conduct routine inspections of laundry equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues, reporting any concerns promptly.
• Assist with textile cleaning processes, including stain removal, garment care machine operation, and finishing tasks to deliver high-quality results.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely completion of laundry services and addressing any special requests or concerns professionally.

Experience

• Previous experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all technical equipment and procedures.
• Familiarity with materials handling, manual lifting techniques, and safety standards in production environments is advantageous.
• Basic math skills are helpful for measuring chemicals and managing time effectively during busy shifts.
• A strong commitment to sanitation practices and safety protocol adherence is essential to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ability to work independently during weekend hours with energy, motivation, and a positive attitude is key to success in this role.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
