At Guardian Homecare, part of CCH, we live by our values of Community, Courage and Heart, and we’re looking for a calm, organised and compassionate Weekend On-Call Coordinator to join our team in Bamber Bridge.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Weekend On-Call Coordinator, you’ll be an important point of contact for our services outside normal office hours.

You’ll handle calls from a range of people, including service users and their families, care professionals, local councils, GPs, health professionals, community services and emergency services.

You’ll:

• Respond to incoming calls quickly, calmly and professionally
• Gather important information and accurately record details on our systems
• Support with queries and unexpected situations
• Make decisions on the appropriate next steps
• Communicate effectively with care teams and other professionals
• Help make sure our services continue to run safely and smoothly throughout the weekend

It’s a varied role where no two shifts are exactly the same, and you’ll know that the work you do is making a genuine difference.

What we’re looking for:

Experience in care, customer service or a contact centre environment would be helpful, but it’s not essential. We’ll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

More importantly, we’re looking for someone who is:
