Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The Prep Cook will be responsible for assisting in food preparation, ensuring the kitchen is organized, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our kitchen operations.

Duties:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking such as washing, peeling, and chopping fruits, vegetables, and meats.
• Assist in cooking and preparing various dishes according to recipes and guidelines.
• Set up workstations with necessary ingredients, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
• Ensure all food items are stored properly at the correct temperatures.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels and communicating with the kitchen staff for replenishment.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant or food service environment.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
• Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and dietary requirements is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
