Weekend Provider

Overview

Fluency in Spanish is required to effectively communicate with our diverse client base.

Weekly hours 10 hours and 45 minutes.

Schedule: Saturday 9 am- 1 pm and Sunday 12:15 pm - 6:30 pm

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Weekend Provider to support senior care and assist individuals with disabilities. This role involves providing high-quality care to clients during weekends, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience working with geriatrics and individuals with disabilities, including knowledge of patient transfer methods. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need of assistance during weekends.

Duties

• Provide personalized senior care, including assistance with daily activities and mobility support.
• Safely transfer patients using appropriate methods tailored to individual needs.
• Support individuals with disabilities by assisting with their routines and ensuring their safety.
• Monitor clients’ health and well-being, reporting any concerns to relevant healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients during weekend shifts.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members in fluent Spanish to ensure clear understanding of care plans and needs.
• Follow all safety protocols and care procedures to uphold the highest standards of service.

Skills

• Proven experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or in geriatrics.
• Knowledge of patient transfer techniques and mobility assistance.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate fluently in Spanish.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of others.
• Ability to work independently during weekend shifts while maintaining professionalism and reliability.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail for monitoring client health and safety.

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.75 per week
