Job Description

Mō te tūranga | About the role

As part of our reception team, you will be the first point of contact for our residents, family, and business contacts in our beautiful newly built Care Centre. Your creativity and enthusiasm will support you in your day-to-day tasks, including:

• Attending to reception duties including telephone calls, and assisting residents and visitors, in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
• Sorting documents, mail & parcels and delivering items to appropriate individuals within the village
• Maintaining/creating resident database profiles
• Providing services pleasantly and courteously which is respectful of individual privacy, dignity, and personal property
• Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the office

This is Fixed term to December part-time role Saturday and Sunday 1000am to 3.00pm.

Qualifications

Strength and competence in customer service and administration through experience in a similar role. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Ability to interact & communicate with a variety of people
• Ability to think on their feet and and solve problems
• Compassion and sensitivty
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong experience with Office 365 including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
