Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Process sales transactions efficiently while upselling menu items like wines, spirits, or specialty cocktails to enhance guest experiences
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and kitchen support when needed to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
• Manage cash handling accurately and process payments using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Support guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of beverage service, spirits, wine selection, and cocktail preparation
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy weekends
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures
• Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is a plus but not required
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
