Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, demonstrations, and selections to enhance their shopping experience
• Operate the cash register (POS system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer operations with integrity
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales potential
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented according to merchandising standards
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering recommendations, and maintaining professional phone etiquette
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking supplies and participating in periodic stock counts
• Support store team members by supervising sales floor activities and ensuring smooth daily operations during weekend shifts

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail sales transactions
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to oversee store activities and guide team members when needed
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
• Skilled in customer service techniques, including phone etiquette and active listening
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions involving discounts, returns, or upselling
• Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising principles, and stock management practices
• Competent in cashiering duties such as cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and basic math calculations
