Roosevelt is looking for an outgoing, confident, and hospitality-driven Weekend VIP Host to join our nightlife team.

Roosevelt operates as a restaurant and social space during the early evening before transitioning into a high-energy, house-music-driven nightlife experience. We’re looking for someone who can be the face of the venue at the door while also helping grow our VIP and bottle service business.

This is not a traditional hostess position. The right person will have a big personality, strong people skills, and the ability to turn conversations into reservations, VIP tables, and bottle service sales.

What You’ll Do

• Greet guests and create an energetic, welcoming first impression at the door
• Manage the guest list, reservations, VIP arrivals, and door flow
• Communicate with management and security to ensure smooth guest entry
• Build relationships with guests and recognize returning clientele
• Promote and sell VIP tables and bottle service
• Convert walk-in guests and inquiries into table reservations when appropriate
• Help develop repeat VIP clientele and encourage future bookings
• Communicate table availability, minimums, packages, and bottle service options confidently
• Maintain an understanding of upcoming DJs, events, programming, and promotions
• Work closely with servers, bartenders, security, management, and the nightlife team
• Represent Roosevelt professionally both inside the venue and when communicating with potential guests

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Extremely outgoing, personable, and comfortable talking to anyone
• Confident and polished in a fast-paced nightlife environment
• Naturally sales-oriented without coming across as pushy
• Great at remembering faces, names, and returning guests
• Reliable and comfortable working late nights and weekends
• Organized enough to manage reservations and guest lists while maintaining a strong presence at the door
• Comfortable communicating through phone, text, and social media with prospective guests
• Interested in building their own network of regulars and VIP clientele

Nightlife, nightclub, VIP hosting, bottle service, hospitality, or luxury service experience is a major plus.

Experience selling tables or bottle service is especially valuable, but we're also open to someone with the right personality, work ethic, and ability to sell.

Compensation

$16/hour + tip pool + additional gratuity/compensation from VIP tables you personally sell.

This position has significant earning potential for someone who is proactive about developing relationships, bringing guests back, and consistently generating table and bottle service business.

You understand that a great nightlife host doesn't just check names at the door—you help build the room, build relationships, and give people a reason to come back.

If you have nightlife experience, an existing network in Phoenix, or previous experience with VIP/table service, we'd especially like to hear from you.
