Weekend Wellness Nurse

SCHEDULE: Saturday and Sunday 8:30am-5pm

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Weekend Wellness Nurse to join our assisted living community. This role is vital in providing high-quality nursing care to residents during weekend shifts, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being are maintained. The Weekend Wellness Nurse will work closely with residents, families, and the care team to deliver personalized support and respond promptly to health concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in an assisted living setting during weekend shifts, including medication administration, health assessments, and monitoring vital signs.
• Respond promptly to resident health needs, addressing concerns or emergencies with professionalism and compassion.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
• Document all resident interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and in accordance with facility policies.
• Educate residents and their families on health management, medication use, and wellness strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, healthcare regulations, and facility standards.
• Assist in coordinating emergency responses when necessary and communicate effectively with medical providers.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license (RN or LPN/LVN) applicable to the state of practice.
• Prior experience in assisted living or long-term care nursing is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform assessments, medication administration, and emergency interventions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate resident care.
• Ability to work independently during weekend shifts while maintaining a team-oriented approach.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing resident needs and healthcare situations.

Pay: $39.00 - $43.00 per hour
