Weighbridge Clerk

Job Scope (Key Responsibilities)

• Weighbridge Operations: Manage the inbound and outbound weighing of trucks and tankers utilizing the weighbridge system.

• Logistics Coordination: Oversee and coordinate the efficient delivery, positioning, and unloading.

• Financial & Tallying Support: Assist with external weighing services (Pinjam Timbang) and accurately reconcile daily payments.

• Documentation & Reporting: Organize, sort, and compile all weighbridge tickets for timely submission to the HQ office.

• System Data Entry (Sales/Purchases):

  • Create accurate L3 entries in the SIMS platform for all sales-related tankers.
  • Process and receive inbound consignments within the SIMS task list for purchases.

• Daily Reporting: Prepare, verify, and transmit daily sales and delivery records via SIMS, and maintain up-to-date daily records in the SPS system.

• HQ Liaison: Coordinate directly with the corporate HQ office regarding driver and foreign worker advances and salary.

• Ad-hoc Duties: Execute any additional operational tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum of an SPM qualification or equivalent.

• Experience: Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply; training will be provided.

• Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer literacy (familiarity with data entry systems or MS Office is a plus).

• Attributes: High level of attention to detail, accuracy in administrative tasks, and strong organizational skills.

• Availability: Ability and willingness to work overtime as operational needs require.
