Weighbridge Operator

Job Summary

Responsible for the accurate operation of the weighbridge system, recording vehicle weight transactions, preparing related documentation, maintaining weighbridge records, coordinating with security, warehouse, logistics, and site operations teams, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge system and accurately record all inbound and outbound vehicle transactions.
• Verify delivery documents, gate passes, delivery receipts, trip tickets, and other supporting documents.
• Issue weighbridge tickets and maintain transaction records.
• Input and update data in the weighbridge software, ERP system, and Microsoft Excel.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly weighbridge reports.
• Coordinate with Security, Warehouse, Logistics, Procurement, and Construction teams regarding material deliveries and dispatches.
• Monitor vehicle movements and ensure compliance with site procedures.
• Report discrepancies in weight, documentation, or material deliveries.
• Maintain proper filing and archiving of weighbridge records and supporting documents.
• Assist in inventory reconciliation and material tracking when required.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of the weighbridge office and equipment.
• Perform other administrative and operational duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of college education.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in weighbridge operations, logistics, warehouse, dispatch, or administrative work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Good data entry and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to prepare reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays if required.
• Able to work in a construction site environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating truck scales/weighbridges.
• Knowledge of construction materials and logistics processes.
• Familiarity with gate pass and warehouse procedures.
• Basic troubleshooting knowledge of weighbridge systems and printers.
• Experience in handling large volumes of vehicle transactions.
