JOB DESCRIPTION – WEIGHT LOSS THERAPIST

Job Title: Weight Loss Therapist
Employment Type: Full-Time

1. Job Summary

The Weight Loss Therapist is responsible for providing weight management support, conducting body assessments, assisting clients with weight loss treatments, and monitoring their progress to achieve desired results safely and effectively.

2. Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Clinical Nutrition, Physiotherapy, or a related field.
• Candidates with certifications in weight management, wellness therapy, or body contouring will be preferred.
• Relevant experience in a slimming centre, wellness clinic, or healthcare facility is an advantage.
• Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial client assessments, including weight, BMI, and body measurements.
• Explain weight loss treatment procedures and wellness programmes to clients.
• Perform non-invasive weight loss therapies and body contouring treatments, where trained and authorised.
• Monitor client progress and maintain accurate treatment records.
• Provide basic guidance on healthy lifestyle habits and exercise routines within the scope of training.
• Educate clients about treatment procedures, precautions, and aftercare.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and equipment standards.
• Coordinate with doctors, nutritionists, and other clinical staff.
• Follow clinic protocols and ensure a positive client experience.

4. Required Skills

• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Knowledge of weight management and body assessment techniques.
• Ability to explain treatment procedures clearly.
• Professional attitude and attention to hygiene.
• Patient, supportive, and results-oriented approach.
