Welcome Desk Staff

Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield

The Welcome Desk Staff member is the first point of contact for members, families, visitors, and volunteers entering the Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield. This position requires someone who is friendly, dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a busy youth environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members, parents, visitors, and volunteers.
• Check members in and out using the Club's check-in system.
• Answer the main phone and direct calls or take messages as needed.
• Answer basic questions about Club programs, schedules, membership, and activities.
• Assist parents and families with general questions and direct them to the appropriate staff member when needed.
• Welcome and direct volunteers and visitors.
• Contact parents/guardians when a child needs to be picked up or leave the Club.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
• Assist Club staff and members as needed throughout the day.
• Help monitor the front entrance and ensure members and visitors follow Club check-in procedures.
• Communicate important information to appropriate Club staff.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at all times.

Position Requirements

• Friendly and comfortable working with children and families.
• Dependable and able to communicate clearly.
• Comfortable answering phones and using basic computer/check-in systems.
• Able to remain calm and helpful in a busy environment.
• This is primarily a standing position and requires the ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
• Willing to assist with youth and Club activities when needed.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
