Welder - 1st Shift

1st shift employees are scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Position Description:

• Welding products to print using manual, semi‐automatic, and automatic welding equipment using MIG and TIG

Primary Objectives:

• Responsible for Quality of parts welded in a timely manner
• Responsible for daily welding of work in adherence to the quality management system

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for welding of parts
• Inspection of parts
• Following safety procedures
• Correct documentation (timekeeping, BOM’s, prints, etc..)
• Other duties as assigned such as general maintenance, housekeeping, etc.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience of wire feed welding
• Welding experience in a related industry preferred
• Welding technology degree (2‐yr) preferred
• Ability to pass AHI welding certification within 90 days of hire for multiple processes
• Ability to setup and run various programs on welding equipment
• Ability to multi‐task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Strong math and mechanical aptitude preferred
• Comfortable using various computer software
• Ability to use and read measuring equipment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Below identifies an anticipated hiring range, note that for candidates with substantial relevant experience and a proven track record of welding excellence in a manufacturing environment, additional wage flexibility may be available.

The pay range for this role is:
24 - 31 USD per hour(Aggressive Hydraulics - Cedar, MN )
