About the role
As a Welder at Benchmark Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal parts and structures. This is a full-time role based in Batu Kawan Penang, where you'll play a crucial part in supporting the company's operations and contributing to its continued success.
What you'll be doing
- Performing a variety of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to join metal components
- Preparing and positioning metal parts for welding, using clamps, jigs, and other fixtures
- Inspecting completed welds for quality and compliance with standards
- Maintaining welding equipment and work area to ensure safety and efficiency
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Welder, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in various welding techniques, including Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, and MIG
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
