Job Summary
The Welder is responsible for carrying out welding, fabrication, installation, repair, and maintenance works on structural steel, metal components, and other construction-related materials in accordance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform SMAW and FCAW welding as required
- Cut and shape metal using hand tools
- Fit and tack weld mild steel piece.
- Grind and weld mild steel bracket.
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures for quality and defects
- Maintain welding equipment and tools
- Able to Work at Height
- Follow workplace safety standards and procedures
- Measure and align workpieces using rulers, clamps, etc.
- Collaborate with welding team teams
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of welding experience and has welding certification / certificate
- Willing to accept four (4) months contract
- Can work at Height
