Job Summary:

Duo Lift, a leading manufacturer of agricultural and industrial trailers, is seeking a skilled Welder to join our production team. The ideal candidate will perform wire welding tasks in the fabrication of high-quality trailers, working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wire Welding: Perform wire welding to fabricate trailer components with precision, ensuring weld quality and adherence to specifications.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and work orders to execute welding tasks accurately.
• Material Handling: Position and secure components safely using hoists, clamps, or jigs to ensure proper fit and alignment.
• Quality Control: Inspect welds and completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Production Efficiency: Work efficiently to meet daily production targets while maintaining safety and quality.
• Physical Requirements: Stand for long periods, lift up to 75 lbs regularly, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards.
• Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of welding equipment to ensure proper operation.

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of production welding experience.
• Proficiency in wire welding techniques.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for following instructions and safety guidelines.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in a manufacturing or trailer production environment.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and fabrication processes.
• Certification in welding is a plus.
