WELDER

About the role

We're seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at A & ONE PRECISION ENGINEERING SDN BHD in Gelang Patah, Johor. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in our Trades & Services operations, specifically within the Welders & in the Semiconductor, Aerospace, Medical Technology, Energy, Consumer Electronics and Telecommunications Industries.

What you'll be doing

• Performing various welding tasks to assemble and repair metal structures, components, and equipment
• Interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to determine the appropriate welding techniques and materials
• Preparing surfaces to be welded by cleaning, shaping, and aligning the components
• Operating welding equipment, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welders, to join metal parts together
• Performing quality checks on completed welds to ensure they meet established standards and specifications
• Maintaining a safe and organized work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated experience as a Welder, with a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Valid welding certification or qualifications
