Welder

About the role

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Welder to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out welding activities according to engineering drawings, welding procedures, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities :

• Perform welding activities according to approved welding procedures and specifications.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Prepare materials and welding equipment before starting work.
• Carry out welding, fitting, and fabrication activities as required.
• Inspect welds for defects and ensure good workmanship.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Follow safety procedures and company regulations.
• Work closely with the Welding Leader and production team.
• Complete assigned work within the required timeframe.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements :

• Minimum 1–2 years of welding experience in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Certificate in Welding or relevant technical qualification is an advantage.
• Able to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of welding defects and basic inspection methods.
• Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Relevant welding certificates are an advantage.
