Uribe Steel is a small business in Houston, TX. We are professional, agile, fast-paced and our goal is to ensure top quality fabrication work, that include 100% X - Ray welds on PIPE, PLATE, Etc. A "One-Stop" steel fabrication company tailored to work directly and/or indirectly in the oil and gas industry, and tank divisions. This includes shearing, bending, rolling, welding, and assembling a vast quantity of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform quality welding and soldering tasks to join metal components
• Use tools to cut, shape, and fabricate metal materials
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
• Operate forklifts and equipment as needed for material handling
• Perform fitting tasks as required

Type of Material that we be welded:

• Carbon Steel 1/8" - 1" thick material (stick, Flux, MIG, TIG)
• Stainless Steel 1/8" - 1/4"
• Carbon to Stainless Steel

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding or related field
• Proficient in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, Flux Cord, and Stick. - Must have taken and passed 100% X-Ray tests prior
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metalworking principles
• Familiarity with fitting processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Experience operating forklifts and loading equipment is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

• FCAW: 5 years (Required)
• MIG welding: 3 years (Required)
• TIG welding: 4 years (Preferred)
