Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled SS Welder with hands-on experience in stainless steel fabrication and welding. The candidate should have good knowledge of welding techniques, SS materials, fabrication drawings, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication work on Stainless Steel (SS) components and structures.
• Carry out TIG/GTAW, MIG/GMAW and/or ARC welding as required.
• Read and understand fabrication drawings, measurements, and welding symbols.
• Select appropriate welding parameters, electrodes, filler rods, and shielding gases for SS welding.
• Perform proper fit-up, tack welding, alignment, and finishing of fabricated components.
• Ensure welds are free from cracks, porosity, undercut, distortion, and other defects.
• Carry out grinding, polishing, and finishing of SS weld joints.
• Maintain proper cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination of stainless steel surfaces.
• Inspect completed welds and correct defects when required.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company quality standards.
• Maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
• Work according to production schedules and meet required quality standards.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Good practical knowledge of Stainless Steel welding and fabrication.
• Knowledge of SS grades such as 304 and 316 is preferred.
• Knowledge of TIG welding of SS will be an advantage.
• Ability to understand basic fabrication drawings and dimensions.
• Knowledge of welding consumables and shielding gases such as Argon.
• Good understanding of welding defects and their prevention.
• Ability to use basic measuring and fabrication tools.
• Good attention to detail and quality.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
