Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various welding techniques. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality standards and safety protocols are met for our company as well as safety protocals for Nutrien Aurora.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks using Stick welding and other techniques to fabricate metal components.
• Operate power tools and machinery, including a press brake machine, to shape and assemble metal parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Utilize cranes for the safe movement of heavy materials during the welding process.
• Conduct inspections of completed welds using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while ensuring quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in welding, particularly with sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Familiarity with operating power tools and machinery safely and effectively.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Prior experience operating cranes is a plus.
