WELDER

About the role

Andrew Walter Constructions are seeking a qualified and experienced Welder to join our team in the Hobart area on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for welding, fabrication and repairs to a variety of plant and machinery in our workshop, helping to keep our equipment maintained and operating safely and efficiently.

You will:

• Carry out welding, fabrication and repairs to plant and machinery
• Perform repairs and maintenance to a high standard
• Identify and address wear, damage and faults with plant and machinery
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop

What we're looking for:

• Relevant welding trade qualification is essential
• Previous experience welding, fabricating and repairing heavy plant and machinery
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to working safely and efficiently
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
