We’re expanding—and looking for talented welders to join our crew! As a family-owned custom fabrication company with about 50 employees. Every project here is different, and every employee plays a vital role in making it happen. The Welder is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components according to blueprints, specifications, and production schedules. This role requires proficiency in welding processes, metal fabrication techniques, and the safe operation of welding and fabrication equipment. The Welder plays a critical role in ensuring quality workmanship, meeting production deadlines, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal components for fabrication projects.
• Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, brakes, shears, drill presses, and other hand and power tools.
• Inspect welds and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Repair or rework defective welds and fabricated components as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of production activities and completed work.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Assist with general fabrication and production duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience

• ­ ­ Technical training or welding certification preferred.
• ­ Minimum of 2 years of welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• ­ Experience working with aluminum and steel fabrication strongly preferred.
• ­ Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG welding experience preferred.
• ­ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• ­ Strong understanding of welding symbols, measurements, and fabrication techniques.
• ­ Experience using precision measuring tools and fabrication equipment.
• ­ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• ­ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• ­ Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Experience:

• custom fabrication: 2 years (Preferred)
• welding (MIG/TIG): 1 year (Preferred)
