WELDER

Job Requirements – Welder

• Must have MIG welding experience and be competent in SMAW, GTAW/TIG, GMAW/MIG, FCAW, and SAW welding processes.
• Must be certified in 4G Plate and 6G Pipe SMAW welding positions.
• Able to read and interpret welding symbols, technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
• Experienced in welding carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron, and other alloys.
• Knowledgeable in welding consumables, filler materials, welding equipment, and safety procedures.
• Skilled in cutting, grinding, beveling, gouging, fitting, aligning, and preparing metal components for welding.
• Able to inspect welds, identify defects, and ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and welding equipment.
• Knowledgeable in preheating, heat bending, metal straightening, and controlling weld distortion.
• Able to perform repairs, metal fabrication, brazing, soldering, and thermal cutting.
• Must follow workplace safety procedures, including fire prevention and the proper use of protective equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 Years’ industrial experience of welding/fabrication jobs related to heavy industry plant maintenance.
• Preferably below 40 years.
• Able to read, write & communicate well in English.
